GREEN'S BRIDGE CLEANUP PROJECT TASKS |
See 2019 Minto project below |
We ask for two volunteers for each month. Volunteers pick day (days) and time according to their availabity and schedule. Multiple days in a month are OK. Volunteers may partnership with the other volunteer on list. We have garbage pickup hand tools that may be checked out to use, or you may provide your own. Trash is to be picked up in the entrance parking lot, along the road to the launch site, and at the launch site. Contact the chairman if there are larger items, such as bed frames, mattress. etc. for special handling. During a few summer months the gate is locked when there is excessive vandalism in the parking lot and road access to the launch site. WE HAVE A SET OF KEYS available to check out to volunteers when the gate is locked. Boaters using the launch site during the months when the gate is locked may make special arrangements, via ODFW, to purchase a key from a specified locksmith in Salem.
